Person of the Year uses a Mac
Time announced that the Person of the Year is "you", because "you" post stuff on YouTube and "you" write a blog, blah, blah, blah.
From the photo on the cover of the magazine, you can clearly see from the keyboard and monitor that "you" uses a Mac:

I can fix that iPod shuffle
Is your old iPod shuffle not working anymore? No? Then it's me to the rescue!
I just finished working on the iPod shuffle Reset Utility for the Mac. I haven't found an iPod shuffle yet that it won't bring back to life. I'm awesome. No, really.

Steve Jobs mentions my product by code name
Today there was an Apple Event where Steve Jobs announced a number of products. One was the new application Photo Booth. He said the idea for this application came from the Mac OS X setup application called MacBuddy. MacBuddy is an internal code name, and no one outside Apple knows what this is. It's known to the public as the Setup Assistant. MacBuddy is what I spend part of my time working on.

Mac foils Windows again!
I bought a Mac Mini for my dad to have him switch by force. He lives in Canada, so I had to take it across the border with me.
I got to the customs official when entering Canada and I declared it because I'm very honest and a wonderful person. I declared it with a value of $450. The custom guy said I was only allowed to bring in up to $60 without paying duties, which I knew. I was like, "fine, I'll pay your duties." Then he said it was my lucky day because all of their computers were down. So I was allowed to walk through without paying any duty.
As I walk toward the exit, I glance at the computer screens, and they are all displaying a Windows XP Professional screen. Ha ha, Mac beats Windows yet again!

Buy Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger from someone who wrote it
Apple's new operating system Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger comes out on the evening of Friday, April 29, 2005. Apple stores are holding special events where you can be the first to get your copy.
But why buy your Tiger from just anywhere when you can buy it from an actual Tiger engineer? I will be at the Valley Fair Apple Store in Santa Clara helping out. The store opens for the Tiger event at 6 pm. I'll be there from 6 pm to closing. If you want to buy your Tiger from an Apple Tiger engineer, say, "I want to buy my Tiger from John A. Vink!"
If you bring a pen, I will also autograph your copy of Tiger and pose for photos.

Stoner at Apple Shareholder Meeting
Today was the Apple Annual Shareholder Meeting. During the Q&A session, a guy who sounded and kinda looked like Steven Wright asked this:
Stoner: "I, like, bought a Pepsi to get a free song".
Stoner: "I bought a Green Day song."
Stoner: "Then I had this plastic Pepsi bottle left over."
Steve Jobs: "You bought a Pepsi just for the song?"
Steve Jobs: "It would have been cheaper just to buy the song."
